Colonial Rule and Spiritual Power Project Obeah and Other Powers is part of a wider project, Colonial Rule and Spiritual Power: Obeah, the State, and Caribbean Culture. The project is funded by the Leverhulme Trust, and is based in the School of Historical Studies at Newcastle University. The Principal Investigator is Diana Paton and the Research Associate is Maarit Forde. The funded project runs from August 2007 to February 2009.
