We have organized two conference accommodation options.
The Royal Station Hotel is a Victorian hotel adjacent to Newcastle Central Station. It is 15-20 minutes walk from the conference venue, or two stops by metro. The address is Neville Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 5DH.
Claude Gibb Hall is a student hall of residence, 5-10 minutes walk from the conference venue. Rooms in Claude Gibb have shared (not en suite) bathroom facilities. The address is Claude Gibb Hall, City Campus, Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 8SU.
Rooms in either Claude Gibb Hall or the Royal Station Hotel can be booked via the NewcastleGateshead Initiative dedicated website for this conference (new window). If you want to stay in the Royal Station Hotel please book as soon as possible, as the hotel is no longer holding rooms especially for the conference (although there may still be availability). The rooms at Claude Gibb are guaranteed to be available until Tuesday 17th June 2008; please make your bookings before then.
